Disclaimer

Last Updated: [02-03-2026]

Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using gardencalcu.com. This page explains the limitations of the information and tools we provide, and what you should keep in mind when using our website.

By visiting or using any part of Garden Calculators, you agree to the terms outlined in this Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. General Information Disclaimer

Garden Calculators is a free online resource that provides gardening tools, calculators, and guides for home gardeners in the United States. All content on this website is created for general informational and educational purposes only.

The information on gardencalcu.com is not intended to serve as professional advice of any kind. While we work hard to make sure our content is helpful and accurate, we cannot guarantee that every piece of information is complete, current, or suitable for your specific situation.

Gardening conditions vary greatly from one location to another. What works well in one state or climate may produce very different results somewhere else. Always consider your own local conditions before applying anything you read on this website.

2. No Professional Advice

Nothing on Garden Calculators should be treated as professional gardening, agricultural, horticultural, or scientific advice. Our content is written to help everyday home gardeners get started and improve their gardens in simple, practical ways.

If you need advice specific to your property, soil type, crop production goals, or local climate, we strongly recommend consulting a certified master gardener, a local cooperative extension office, or a licensed agricultural professional in your area.

We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the content or tools found on this website. All decisions about your garden are yours alone.

3. Calculator Accuracy Disclaimer

The calculators and tools available on gardencalcu.com are designed to provide helpful estimates based on widely accepted gardening guidelines and general formulas. These results are starting points to guide your planning, not exact figures guaranteed to be correct in every situation.

Calculator results are influenced by the data you enter. If you enter incorrect measurements or choose the wrong plant type, the results will not be accurate. Always double-check your inputs before relying on any result.

Real-world factors such as soil composition, local weather, water quality, seed germination rates, and individual plant health can all cause actual results to differ from what our calculators suggest. We encourage you to use our tools as a helpful guide alongside your own judgment and local knowledge.

4. Gardening Results May Vary

Garden Calculators does not guarantee any specific gardening outcome, harvest size, plant growth rate, or yield. Every garden is different. Results depend on a wide range of factors that are completely outside our control.

These factors include but are not limited to soil quality and pH levels, local rainfall and weather patterns, temperature and seasonal changes, the quality and variety of seeds used, pest and disease pressure, watering habits, fertilization practices, and the gardener’s experience and care routines.

Two gardeners following the same advice can get very different results. This is the nature of gardening and it is something no website or tool can fully account for. We share our best knowledge to help you succeed but we cannot promise specific results.

5. External Links Disclaimer

Our website may include links to external websites, third-party tools, and outside resources that we believe may be useful to our visitors. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

Garden Calculators does not own, operate, or control any external website we link to. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party website. Clicking on an external link and visiting another website is entirely at your own risk.

We recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any external website before using their services or sharing any personal information with them. The presence of a link on our website does not mean we officially endorse that website or its content.

6. Affiliate Disclaimer

Garden Calculators participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that some links on our website may be affiliate links. If you click on one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

We only recommend products, tools, and services that we genuinely believe are useful and relevant to our readers. Our affiliate relationships do not influence the content, guides, or calculator results we publish. We are committed to providing honest and helpful information regardless of any affiliate arrangement.

All affiliate relationships are disclosed in accordance with the guidelines set by the Federal Trade Commission in the United States. If you have any questions about our affiliate links, please contact us directly.

7. Advertising Disclaimer

Garden Calculators displays advertisements through Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. These advertisements help us cover the costs of running this website and allow us to keep all our tools and guides completely free for every visitor.

We do not personally select or control the specific ads that appear on our pages. Ads are served automatically by Google and other networks based on your browsing history, interests, and other factors determined by those platforms.

The appearance of an advertisement on our website does not mean we endorse the advertiser, their products, or their services. We are not responsible for the content of any third-party advertisement shown on gardencalcu.com. If you see an ad that seems inappropriate or misleading, you are welcome to report it to us and we will look into it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the United States, Garden Calculators and its owners, contributors, and team members will not be held liable for any damages that arise from your use of this website or your reliance on any content, calculator result, or guide found here.

This includes but is not limited to crop failures, poor harvests, plant loss, financial loss, property damage, or any other negative outcome that results directly or indirectly from using our tools or following our advice.

We provide this website and all of its content in good faith and with the genuine intention of helping home gardeners. However, we cannot be responsible for outcomes that depend on factors beyond our knowledge or control.

9. Use at Your Own Risk

Everything on gardencalcu.com is provided on an as-is basis. We make no warranties, either expressed or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of our content for any particular purpose.

By choosing to use our calculators, read our guides, and apply information from this website, you accept full personal responsibility for the results. You agree that you are using this website and its tools entirely at your own risk.

We always encourage you to combine our tools with your own research, local knowledge, and professional guidance where needed. No single online tool or guide should ever be your only source of information for important gardening decisions.

10. Changes to This Disclaimer

Garden Calculators reserves the right to update, revise, or change this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. When changes are made, the updated date at the top of this page will be revised so you always know when it was last changed.

We encourage all visitors to check this page periodically to stay informed about any updates. Your continued use of gardencalcu.com after any changes are posted means you accept and agree to the revised Disclaimer.
